Today was pretty hectic. Got stuck in a huge traffic jam in Atlanta on account of a car accedent. After lunch I caught a nap in the van on the way to Nashville. The Rats were playing a set before the demo so we got to the venue early so they could practice and do a sound check. I skated the park for a bit before the show and had the whole place to myself. I skated the bowl and bit and had a quick session. A lot of people showed up for the Rats and they sold lots of merch and got a great reaction. They finished the set with “Rise Above” by Black Flack. It was the first time they had ever played it. Shortly after their set it was demo time. The park was packed and the crowd was semi-excited. It was so damn hot in the park it was really taking it’s toll on everyone. Most of the guys quit early but Mike gave it his all as always. It was his 3rd demo there in about a years time. Sold lots more merch after the demo. The autograph session took forever. Met lots of cool people as they came through the line. Afterward we split with the Rats back to our hotel and ordered some pizzas up to the room and chowed hard. Right now I’m down in the lobby using a free computer entering the last few days entries. One more day of action and then it’s back to LA.

Alternate angles of some of the tricks from Mike V’s “Birthday Brigade” segment from The Berrics. I filmed this with my Canon Powershot pocket camera and choose a more raw edit for that “behind the scenes” feel. Enjoy.
