I Need Your Shelter.

Shelter performing “Saranagati” live at Randall Rehearsal Studios in Buffalo, NY on June 22, 1992.

This is a two camera edit I put together from my master tape (I’m filming stage right) and a first generation dub I traded with Bhakta Henry who filmed the Shelter 1992 tour video, “Sankirtana Yajna”. The second angle from Henry’s camera is the same footage that appears in the tour video sans the weird effect that is in the whole video. The audio is culminated from both cameras and is pretty poor. This is also the song with the infamous Ray “kicking over” Porcell stage antics. I slow-mo’d it at the end as well.

This was probably the best show in Buffalo that whole summer. Heck, best show for a long time. A huge stage, a huge crowd and tons a dancing and diving and having fun. Support, Farside and Iceburn also played.

This is also the show in which Shelter was attacked by thugs after the show and inspired the lyrics to “Song Of Brahma” from Shelter’s “When 20 Summers Pass” album.

Bootleg Bangin!

Bootleg Bangin!

Alternate angles of some of the tricks from Mike V’s “Bangin!” segment from The Berrics. I filmed this with my Canon Powershot pocket camera and choose a more raw edit for that “behind the scenes” feel. Enjoy.
