My friend Steve Hertz is a member of SC3, the Southern California Classic Collectors group and he’s in charge of helping put on their twice a year video game showcase. The past Saturday was the second show of the year and it was held at the Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra, CA. It was also the second show that wasn’t held at Steve’s house/garage/backyard.
I missed the show they had back in March so this location was all new to me and there were quite a few games that haven’t seen at past shows I have been to. As always, the camera came with me and here are the pics…

Classics. Someone needs to make an “Artwork of Atari Cartridges” coffee table book.

So stoked to see Paperboy in the mix. One of my favorite games and I don’t think I’ve played it since the late 90s.

Tron and Discs Of Tron!!!

Me playing Paperboy.

I got the top two high scores!

Big thanks to Steve and the whole SC3 crew for putting together such a fun event. I demand a sit down Spy Hunter machine at the next show.
Our next stop was Costa Mesa for the Revolution Mother show at the Tiki Bar.
