Radio Nowhere

A couple of years back when the video for “Radio Nowhere” from Bruce Springsteen’s album “Magic” was released, it was a real bummer.

The vibe and lyrics of the song conjure up images of a man trying to find his way home, traveling through desolate parts of America while trying to find some crucial tunes on the radio. When the official video dropped all we got was some footage of the band playing the song in the recording studio with b-roll of some people walking around New York City. Basically the opposite of the images that the song conjures up.

So sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands. Here’s my version…

Crossroads: Salad Days Promo

Joe Cassenti and I appeared on the live Western New York talkshow “Crossroads” to promote the premiere of Salad Days at the Kingpin Skatepark in Lockport. The premiere was also a benefit for a friend of ours, Matt Torrey who had recently passed away from cancer. All the proceeds went to Matt’s family and were put towards his children’s college education funds.

This episode originally aired on Friday, April 25, 2003.
