Came across this haggard VHS tape while digging through some boxes.

CIV performing their hit single, “Can’t Wait One Minute More” with guest vocals by yours truly performing the “Lou Koller” part at the Warped Tour in Buffalo, NY. July 28, 1998.

Somehow or another whenever I would see CIV play I would be the one who would do the Loe Koller part. I must have done it a dozen or so times. This is the only one I have on video. They were always super cool to me.

Just ignore the heinous gear I’m wearing.

This is a three camera edit, filmed with two Canon HV30s and one HV20. Edited in Final Cut Pro. No color correction has been done.

Coming down the pipe is a mini documentary of Insted’s 3 shows from a couple of months back. Lots of live footage, interviews, rehearsals, bro-down footage etc.

Hardcore Karaoke

If you would have told me when I was 16 years old that I could sing for Insted at one of their rehearsals I would have said you were high.

Orange County Hardcore band, Insted have been rehearsing for their four upcoming reunion shows in August and September of 2009. Insted’s singer, Kevinsted was still in Denver so I was able to sneak into rehearsal and sing a few songs with the band.

Besides butchering three Insted classics, I also take a stab at “One To Two” by Dag Nasty and “Young Till I Die” by 7 Seconds.

These were all first and only takes of the songs.

This is further proof I have no business being near a microphone.
